It is the kind of thing that looks like it could be tricky, but it does have a pretty intuitive user interface for you. From what I have experienced so far, the game uses a modular system for building your park and attractions. Granted, in the early trailer we saw, this was not shown, but I am all for giving people an easier way to make some epic rollercoasters and rides.
One of the things that make Park Beyond sound very interesting are the simple controls. The Rollercoaster Tycoon series and Planet Coaster is awesome, but when you build a coaster there, you are pretty much confined to some kind of reality, that is not the case here, the crazier the better as a matter of fact! One Ride At A Time In Park Beyond, you are not just restricted by what is actually possible when it comes to your rides and rollercoasters! The whole idea of this game is to go “beyond” what is seen as normal and create more and more wild and insane rides that could never actually exist in the real world. Well, I think that was the buzzword that the trailer dropped.
The more money the park makes, the more cool and outlandish attractions you are going to be able to build! Immpossification! He hires you to bring something modern, cool, and fun to his park and to turn its fortunes around. We see some old geezers theme park and it is not doing too well as all his rides are ones that are straight out of the 80s. I am pleased that Park Beyond is going to actually have a campaign for us to sink our teeth into.
As I write this, details are not exactly in abundance, but I still wanted to share what I think is cool about this game. This looks like it is borrowing more than a few ideas from that game, but it is also taking things to crazier new heights which seems like a lot of fun. I found out about this game at the perfect time as planet coaster was just released on the PS5 as one of the PlayStation Plus games.
I am so stoked for Park Beyond! Ever since the days I would spend hours and hours playing theme park on the SNES, games like this have massively appealed to me.
